Le Parc’s transformations (2018)

Julio Le Parc, Mutación de Formas (1959)
Just beginning to learn more about the Argentine artist Julio Le Parc, who turned 90 this year. In the 50s he worked a lot with systematic transformations of simple geometric forms in a way that implied motion; later work moved into kinetic and light sculpture. These animation studies are my first attempts to tease out and illustrate the motion of his 2d work.
